Rating Scales

Rating Scale:

Three Cups

A review with three cups meets the criteria of having an entertaining story with a decent plot, has few plot holes, tropes, and other stereotypical themes that appear in writing. The character(s) are engaging, interesting, and original. They lack major flags for the Unforgivables of storytelling.

Two Cups

Two cup reviews have entertaining storylines with plot and characters that show less originality and creativity. Generally these are offenders of using several Unforgivables of storytelling.

One Cup

One cup reviews are reserved for disappointing and poorly crafted storylines and characters. Repeat uses of Unforgivables of storytelling.

Unforgivables

An Unforgivable can be issued for using a common trope, having Mary/Gary Stu traits for your characters, having a predictable or re-used plot or plot-device. Poor grammar and spelling can also receive an Unforgivable mark.
